The World or the Land?

There are arguments about this all the time among Disneyphiles. Which is better? Disney World or Disneyland? Just getting back from a trip to California where I spent several days at Disneyland, I can answer that question, at least to my own personal opinion. I loved going to Disneyland. It was beautiful, and there was something about the park that was different than going to the World in Florida. Maybe it was the smaller size, or maybe it was something less tangible today. Walt Disney himself designed and built Disneyland. While he worked on Disney World, he died before much of it could be built.

Home again

I returned home late last evening after spending three days plus a few hours in California with friends. It was a ton of fun! I’m so glad I was able to make this fall break a real break. I needed the time off to just relax. On the schedule for the trip was a birthday (not mine), trips to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, an opening viewing of Jackass 3D (more on that subject later), dinners out, and my first (professional) massage. This note is brief, I’ll be describing some of my exploits in some upcoming articles, but I wanted to let my readers know that I’m back in South Carolina and will be updating soon!

Busy times

I’ve been a little quiet for the past few days, because I’ve been finishing up some school work in anticipation of fall break. I’m doing it now for two reasons. One, because some of it was due before fall break begins, and two because I’m going to California over fall break to see friends and go to Disneyland and I don’t want to have to take it with me.
